To fight Russias anti LGBT stance – Capcom / Marvel make Colossus LGBT

Take that, Putin. Russia is not quiet about their anti-LGBT stance, going so far as to completely remove any and all traces of LBGT from childhood education and learning. So Marvel and Capcom decided to team up yet again and do something about it.

Russia is proud of only a handful of things. Three of them are Vodka, Tetris and the Marvel superhero — Colossus: who Putin even called a “strong and powerful Russian role model” for all of the future KGB boys and girls. Crazier still is a painting of Colossus inside the Kremlin modeled after Vladimir Putin. Is he obsessed with the X-Man?

I have some bad news for you Putin, your favorite superhero is about to be supercharged with a new found love and respect for one another. Kiyah!

Capcom and Disney have both hinted in the past about revamping Colossus, but with Russia getting dirty, the mouse and the video game giant Capcom have decided to fight fire with fire, by giving Colossus the most excellent pair of rainbow spandex trousers we have ever seen on a video game character.

His super moves are being totally rewritten as well. The staple transformation charge will now emit high levels of hearts and kissy face emojis, as well as pink kittens and glitter which paralyze the opposing character for 15 seconds straight, in order for Colossus to unleash his “thousand Palm B**ch slap” something we’ve never before seen in a fighting game.

On the film side of things, Disney states the next installment of X-Men will feature the Russian Giant, only this time he is reported to have a love affair with a fictional Russian president named Cladamire Mutin, with sources telling us that he’ll be modeled after Vladimir Putin himself. Cladamire finally exercises his demons by leaving his wife for the Giant and recanting his evil ways.

Because we know how strongly Vladimir feels about his favorite superhero colossus, hopefully this gets Russia to back down and end the war with Ukraine. And if it doesn’t, well at least we know the Tech Giants are fighting for us. Great job all around, guys. Here here.
